Book Datez started with a simple idea: reading is more fun when it’s shared. Just like kids love playdates, we created Book Datez as a “book date”—a chance for children to meet new friends, explore amazing stories, and talk about what they’re reading together.
Our Story
Book Datez was created by an educator with years of experience across elementary, secondary, and higher education, and her middle school son, who has had a passion for books since birth.

Together, they envisioned a virtual space where children could come together to explore the enchanting world of books in a fun and interactive way. Recognizing the importance of fostering literacy and creativity in young minds, they set out to break down barriers to reading—making it possible for kids everywhere, regardless of where they live or their background, to experience the magic of books.

What started as an idea between a mom and her son has grown into a community where children can not only discuss books but also create and share their own stories.
